Show Ute lands inspected by agency committee The mammoth task of field inspecting the acres of land under Uintah Indian Irrigation Project has just been completed by the Committee at the Uintah and Ouray TAKING A TOTAL of over three each tract lias been individually checked in the field with purpose of of assessments of Irrigation The land has been divided into three 1 presently land that is in good condition and can be profitably 2 Lands that are temporarily and 3 those lands that are permanently such as land is too on or rough river bot- or range THE Committee would like for each landowner to come to the Agency office to sign the necessary forms for his tract or tracts as soon as he receives notice to do This includes each Indian and as well as Indian people who have inherited This will enable each individual land owner to haw on record the actual number of acres which the committee has recommended to be Included in tho Uintah Indian Irrigation It will also be helping the Committee to complete their LAWRENCE HELMS is the chairman of the He represents the Federal Lionel representing the- non-Indian landowners under the project and Russell representing the Ute Tribe are also members of the Approximately 30 of the land is owned by |
