I Members of the Soroptimist International In-ternational of Bountiful are busy getting ready to host its annual Christmas Home Tour and boutique. bouti-que. This year it will be held Saturday. Satur-day. Dec. 7 between the hours of noon-5 p.m. MUCH PREPARATION has been done by the members to get ready for this event. The homes have been carefully selected to add to your holiday festivities. Six families have offered to open their homes for the public to tour and enjoy. The Robert McArthur residence is in Carriage Crossing. Mr. McArthur McAr-thur is a graduate of architecture and interior design. He has designed de-signed his home with an electric theme utilizing pieces of personal interest. Note the Shaker Reproductions Repro-ductions and old cornice detail from Utah First Bank. Italian light, ancestral items, shopping bags, s and Christmas decorations are from all around the world. THE MANY people of the Bountiful Boun-tiful area will enjoy the French decor de-cor and delicate interiors of Mrs. Ted (Idella) Christensen's new home. It is located in Carriage Crossing also. Gilbert and Anna Rae Nelson's home hosts a kitchen that welcomes wel-comes you to come sit awhile. A view of the valley can be seen from all the rooms. Notice the energy construction of this home and the magnificent wood wall in the living room. The boutique will be located here. NEXT DOOR is the home of Dar-rell Dar-rell and Nolene Reynolds. Nolene's work as a designer with Dinwoody's is reflected in the warm beautiful decor of this lovely home. To tour this home will be the highlight of your holiday season. The "Carriage House" is the new home of Kent and Bonnie Wheelwright. This residence is graced by many unusual architectural architec-tural elements. THE HOME was. originally used as a carriage house and many of the original doors and windows were used after the house was extensively extensive-ly remodeled. Note the high windows win-dows and doors in the family room. This area originally had pullies so that carriages could easily be repaired. re-paired. The interior design compliments compli-ments the architectural restoration. restora-tion. "The Christmas Cottage" is the home of Neal and Alice Sessions. This unique home was constructed in 1890 by Nathan Porter who originally ori-ginally surveyed much of the land in the Centerville area. The home has the original wood moldings and stained glass windows. Neal and Alice have added a special charm to the home which is most delightful delight-ful at Christmas time. EACH YEAR the Home Tour Boutique gets bigger and betterand this year is no exception. It will feature a quilt and all kinds of homemade gifts. There will be lots of homemade candy and yummy goodies to buy , door prizes and lots of fun. If purchased in advance tickets are still only S2.50. Get yours at any of the Bountiful businesses displaying dis-playing the Home Tour poster or contact one of the Soroptomist ' members. Soroptimist International Internation-al of Bountiful is part of a worldwide worl-dwide club of professional and business women dedicated to service. ser-vice. The Home Tour is the Bountiful Bounti-ful club's only fund raiser for the year. These funds will be donated to the Community Center for the Deaf here in Bountiful, to the Pioneer Adult Rehabilitation Center Cen-ter in Kaysville and to the Senior Citizens Jazz Band.
