GINGERBREAD HOUSE COOKIE 2Yx cups flour ': tsp. salt 1 tsp. ginger 23 cup molasses 13 cup brown sugar Vi cup oil 1 egg 1 Tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon MIX ALL ingredients as for cookie dough. Chill several hours before rolling. Now oil a large piece of foil on which you will roll the dough. Place foil on table or board and roll the dough into a large circle to fit the foil. Roll about Vs inch thin and then transfer the foil with dough to the cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees de-grees for about 20 minutes or a bit longer, so it is firm but not too hard. Then while warm, lay the patterns on the cookie and with a sharp knife cut the pieces of the house. THE HOUSE can then be put together with the royal icing which is given and various pieces of small candies can be used for decorating, use your imagination to decorate this holiday project. ROYAL ICING 1 egg white Vi tsp. cream of tartar powdered sugar TO MAKE a pattern the size used by this family, first draw a pattern on paper or cardboard.
