Show FROM HEALTH OFFICERS local health officers reported a 4 total of cases of communicable disease for the week ending august 22 1911 this is ic 7 cases more than were reported for the week ending august 15 and 43 cases more than were reported for the corresponding week 1910 twelve of the twenty nine bounties do eo unties in the state yio 1110 disease two cases of tularemia were reported one case from millard county the source of infection being a mosquito bite and one case from uintah county the source of infection being a f fly ly bite duchesne and summit counties each reported one case of rocky mountain spotted fever A case ol of typhoid fever was reported from salt lake city one case of poliomyelitis io infantile paralysis was also reported from salt lake city the attending physician reported it as a mild case without paralysis whooping cough lead the list of communicable muni cable diseases with a total of 48 cases other communicable diseases reported were as follows chicken pox 17 influenza 1 n 9 measles 6 german beasi measles es 2 mumps 16 pneumonia 2 scarlet fever 2 tuberculosis 3 parathyroid A 1 gonorrhea 5 and syphilis 25 |
