By contrast, France has no food problem, being principally an agricultural nation. And Britain, although she has distributed ration cards, has vast amounts of foods stored in her larder. Moreover she is still able to import while Germany is hemmed in by a blockade. Probably the Reich can count on Russia for some raw materials, but not unless she can supply the Soviet with manufactured items in return. And German factories are kept busy turning out war supplies.
