| Show missionary LETTER 1601 ala maciolia MaC Tolia n lia ave kr diio le tenn february 10 1939 Edito r the me rich county reaper randolph utah ft dear sir I 1 want to take this opportunity to express exi oress my iny thanks to y you on for sending me the reaper it helps beeps i ne me to keep in in touch bouch with home front from another zo e cd source and it is impossible to forget home even though I 1 have been one bone five mory hs I 1 still like to know what is going on all over the county the past five months have zone eone past so swiftly that I 1 cant realize that they are gone this mission Is really a source of toy to me I 1 lived in the mission field for four years but bit it at all 11 like thisbe this we spend all of our time in the work of the lord and it is really arid and truly a pleas ute uie to me and to all the missionaries I 1 have barked with so far ive been in the e stern half of tennessee since my arrival in my field of labor it is a lot different here than at home there are rolling hills and no bis big flat valleys at all the hills are covered with trees and all k kinds of ip r crowth it is surely a bo beautiful pitiful 11 picture in the fall the people of tennessee are fine they have ways that seen odd to me but I 1 know they feel the same wa ay about ours many people listen t to 40 us just to hear us talk then there is is a class of people that are trw hill billys in every sense of the word As vet ive not had moch mich to do with them having spent almost all of my time in the city axe ae a e fine pe people and the southern Sau thern hospitality hat ive heard so much about is very much in evidence coops poops still think that we have lots of cf wives and im sure that we answer ard explain exi plain that one o ne question more than any other I 1 in im indeed grateful for the ledge of coming conic on a mission and I 1 sincerely wih that all of our youns young people could come out it would mean mea a lot to them I 1 know there is no greater toy joy than that of doine some ibitz for some body else freely and without thought of pos pe onal reward alaan I 1 want to thank you von fot for sending me the reaper I 1 flo appreciate it id like also aso to call ta t your attention mv new address sincerely yours ELDER W B ANDE |
