Show ENCE MAGLEBY funeral services were held sunday at 3 p m in the monroe south ward chapel for mis mildred ence magleby 42 wife of milton A magleby who died of a lingering illness at her home in monroe thursday bishop heber winget conducted the services the choir directed by thomas ransom with mrs airs elvin Christians cn as accompanist sang two selections in the upper garden and sometime well understand mra airs owen and mrs lois johnson were soloists for the choir other musical numbers were bury me near the old home sung by a quartet composed of lawrence and clifford jones john magleby and thomas ransom a vocal duet that wonderful mother of mine by carol dean ond betty baker of richfield and a vocal solo sing me to sleep by mrs han mer smith accompanied by airs bert swain speakers were wilford hansen arthur C lundgreen of the south sevier stake presidency and bishop winget mrs airs arthur forbush read resolutions of respect one from herself and one from the south ward relief society chorus A tribute of respect aiom the club was given by mrs airs wilford hansen mrs josephine christensen read resolutions from the county officers daughters of utah pioneers resolutions from the south sevier stake music committee were read by miss laura shepherd A tribute of respect was given by mrs C A white a worker coworker co in the stake and a neighbor mrs myrl brugger of richfield also paid a tribute to the family the invocation was by boyd brown and the benediction by C A white members of the relief society and Lite rosc club carried the profusion of beautiful floral offerings and a large congregation of friends from all parts of the county and outside areas gave mute testimony of the love and respect in which mrs airs IN magleby was held pallbearers Pall bearers were calvin magic by reeve hansen kirtly bell keith tuft and keith hansen of richfield interment was in the monroe cemetery two musical numbers were given at the cemetery by a brass quartet directed by dean alsop and composed by melvin jensen L lynn lundgreen Lund grcen bert caseman and mr alsop they played rock of ages and god be with you till we meet again john ence of richfield an uncle dedicated the grave mrs mildred ence magleby was born in richfield october 28 1896 a daughter of alma J and amy buchanan ence she was married to milton A magleby on november 29 1916 in the salt lake temple since then they resided at monroe prominent in civic and church auxiliaries at monroe mrs airs magleby had served as a counselor in the stake ar I 1 A for two years as stake al 1 I A chorister for six years as a ward choir member for 20 years as an officer in the club which she helped to organize org onize at the time of her death she was a member of the stake music committee and organist of the sevier county camp daughters of pioneers surviving are her husband two daughters mrs airs pearl colby of sigurd and mrs marjorie callaway of monroe one son maurice magleby of monroe her parents mr air and mrs alma J ence of richfield five sisters mrs J W johnson of layton mrs guy baker mrs airs L C fronk and mrs reed thurston of richfield and mrs airs W S evans of butte montana |
