Show ELSINORE MARY P AHLSTROM correspondent 0 the following program was conducted by mrs airs kenneth jacobson Y W M I 1 A president at the conjoint meeting of the 11 1 I A sunday evening instrumental duet cray and bryant larsen accompanied compa nied by mrs lillian jensen five minute talks on junior and senior seminary joyce marquardson and eric madsen violin duet georgia lorenson and norma anderton talks jay and ralph anderson who recently returned from missions the elsinore ward relief society held its annual dues party tuesday afternoon in the relief society rooms with mrs airs J B hansen president in charge the relief society chorus accompanied by mrs lillian jensen sang two numbers a short talk was given kiy mrs hansen a harmonica duet was played by mrs glen braithwaite and mrs erwin bridges a story was retold by mrs roy marx a solo was sung by mrs ransom herring who played a guitar accompaniment refreshments were served by the presidency the ladies bridge club was entertained by mrs J H at the home of her daughter mrs fern of richfield friday evening dinner was served at one long table with covers placed for twelve guests the table held a lace cover and was centered with pink sweet peas in a silver vase the bridge prize was won by mrs airs vincent bradley mrs airs margaret montgomery was a special guest mrs airs oral nielson entertained al at t aparto a party monday evening complimentary to her husband who celebrated his birthday A tasty luncheon was served to twenty guests games were played during the evening mrs mae jensen assisted her daughter betty in entertaining 12 friends wednesday evening in celebration of bettys sixteenth birthday A delicious luncheon was served after which tables were arranged for games miss elizabeth was hostess monday evening to the club at her home dinner was served at a prettily appointed table with covers placed for 12 bridge was played during the evening miss alice jensen won the prize miss marjorie marjoric robinson a snow college student spent last weekend here bere with her parents mr air and mrs walt robinson miss alline anderson was at home last week because of illness she returned to provo to resume her studies at the B Y U sunday milford ahlstrom and mayland mecham of tropic were guests of mr and mrs G W ahlstrom mon dav night mr air and mrs airs ted whiting spent anent last weekend in provo and salt lake mr and mrs airs busk returned itu ned home from torrey this week they spent the past two months there |
