Show funeral services held tuesday for mrs lee isbell funeral services were held tuesday afternoon in the first ward chapel for mrs martha N isbell widow of the late lee isbell who died friday night in a salt lake hospital owen M ogden of the ward bishopric presided speakers were mrs sarah H gardner a lifelong life long friend of mrs isbell who stressed especially her childhood association with mrs isbell mrs Is bells talent as a singer and her untiring work as the mother of twelve children patriarch H J hansen and president F if ogden spoke along the same line of thought musical numbers were three selections oh my father my jesus as thou wilt and though deepening trials by the relief society chorus from the first ward with mrs moroni jensen as soloist directed by mrs airs emily with mrs airs dan ogden and mrs airs H W as accompanists and a vocal solo trusting by mrs vern blomquist the opening prayer was by jas P Fo poulson ulson the benediction by J W ross pallbearers Pall bearers were childhood friends of mrs airs isbell A 0 J L christensen J L john hansen jos hansen and N P peterson fa F mrs isbell was born bom may 26 1875 at richfield a daughter of charles H and karen C larson nielson As a young woman she was married to lee isbell and made her home in richfield until twelve years ago shortly after the death of her husband when she moved to salt lake she Is survived by nine sons and daughters evan kermith terril and june isbell mrs ernestine gould mrs blanche holland mrs frankie pratt and mrs villa gerdom all of salt lake and mrs ireta jensen of los log angeles fourteen grandchildren one sister mrs jos M ogden and three brothers charles J A and wilford nielson all of richfield all the family except mrs holland and terril isbell were at the services |
