| Show BISHOP HANSEN no GIEN HONDO tokens of esteem to them in laige meeting at the waid chapel bishop 1 II 11 I J hansen of the richfield third ward his big two counselors chas L ogden and VV A rowley and retiring counselor lester ogden were the honored guests at a meeting held by the people of the third ward in the ward meeting house monday evening it lo go happens that the birthday anniversaries of the bishop and his counselors all come in november and this particular occasion was taken as the motive for the general expression of love and respect in which these highest church functionaries function aries of the ward are held by their people to say that the house was crowded to capacity would not do justice to the description of the attendance because the hue house was is orr overcrowded oded and there was as n not ot room left to drop a pin pin in the standing tan ding space pace an excellent program of music songs recitations and speeches was given gien with W 1 0 cluff chairman of the recreation committee as master of ceremonies the crowning ing event came when mrs W H robinson took the floor for the presentation sen gen tation speech and distributed the tokens to the honored guests a beautiful gold watch properly engraved to the bishop and lifetime life time fountain pens to the two active and the retiring counselors bishop hansen overcome with emotion expressed thanks thank in his own behalf and for the three other men so honored and the balance of the evening was spent in social visiting and enjoying refreshments prepared by the third ward ladies |
