Show I 1 AURORA I 1 by special correspondent 0 0 aurora auroia man accidentally shot bial taylor was fatally wounded by the accidental discharge of his rifle wednesday ino morning ining when lie he was returning from a hunting trip his three companions left on horseback to go down a canyon leaving leading bial to take the team and outfit over another road he stained from the top of the mountain and got to what Is is called pine hill ridge bhele heie his gun slipped off from the wagon the butt of it striking the ground and causing it to discharge disc haige the bullet went through the bottom of the wagon the bedding a tent and a bail of hay and then entering the front of orals left leg went through his stomach and lodged against his spine after lie he was shot lie he got off from the wagon tried to bandage his wound with a pillow case rough locked the wagon and drove two milles miles down the canyon when he became so weak from loss of blood he had to turn the team loose three other aurora hunters found him lying under a tree by the side of the road they rushed him to the salina hospital as quickly as possible but nothing could be done he passed away thursday morning funeral services were held saturday in in the ward chapel words of consolation and comfort were spoken to the mourners and praise for the deceased by ray mason edwin sorensen moroni boioni lazenby and bishop sorensen orals two uncles one from loa and one from delta also made a few ieni ic marks arks mr of saina gendered xen len dered a violin solo and inez mason alason sang the ladies chorus furnished three selections A long procession of cars followed the remains to the ward cemetery for interment surviving him are his v widow adow and two sons age three and five his father heber taylor three brothers tom of mcgill nevada glen and linford of aurora and one sister wanda taylor of mcgill all the immediate relatives were vere present at the funeral services local and personal 37 members from our ward attended the monthly priesthood meeting at redmond sunday relief society conference was held sunday evening A report of the past years work was given by mrs airs rose lazenby john stewart wart who recently returned from the swiss german germ n I 1 mission spoke visiting stake officers present were president melissa crone crane sirs airs ernest herbert mrs roy colby and mrs elnore sorensen all of salina L G busey of provo prove arrived here saturday night to visit relatives lie he and his wife returned home monday morning mr and mrs H H bell and mrs pearl hendrickson of glenwood GI enwood were the guests of mrs harvey harward monday |
