sergeant at arms bryant Don domgaard dom igaard gaar service officer gecz george tong long publicity officer dr don C merrill chaplain J B stark officer in charge of equipment the members of the executive committee are james 1 I rex chairman norval crane jarvis martin edin F peterson Pete raon and geqrge george williams the members of the fire department for the coming year are jarvis jams filar tin chief J B stark assistant chief E W cecil lieu tenant and bryant domgaard secretary and treasurer after the meeting the legion boys gathered at the main cafe where a late luncheon was enjoyed WHEAT TREATING PLANT INSTALLED BY LOCAL FARMER IIER one of salinas most prominent and successful farmers ernest herbeat Her beit recently installed a wheat treating plant on his farm about thirteen I 1 miles west of salina in sevier and millard counties the machine is up to late date in every way and has a capacity of forty five bushels an hour copper sulphate is used in the process of treating the grain mr herbert puts his own wheat through the plant and he has some of the finest grain in this part of the country GET acquainted PARTY GIVEN AT HIGH SCHOOL A get acquainted party part delange and laughter daughter and son beryl and noel left friday morning for salt lake where beryl will mill attend the hennager busi mess college mr and sirs mrs delange and noel returned to salina the first of the week mrs hilda gates and children reed muriel and lois left thursday for salt lake where they will remail remain through the winter the last years officers of the first ward mutual pave gave a farewell party to mrs hilda gates tuesday evening in in appreciation of the work she has done in that organization after a pleasant evening a picnic luncheon was served mr and mrs henry winkel were salina i saturday evening miss bazelia borg was the guest of honor at a farewell party given wednesday en al a Y evening prior to her leaving for tropic where she is teaching school this winter seven of miss borgs bergs dope close friends attended the party which they turned into a picnic outing ing going out in the hills where an enjoyable evening was spent miss borg bor left for her destination thursday morning coach davis entertains the football boys every tuesday and thursday evenings at what he calls brain araj practice just what brain practice is the coach fails to say but
