| Show scandinavians CELEBRATE WITH OLD TIME DANCE last friday evening a large number of salina people enjoyed themselves se ives hugely at an old time dance given by the scandinavians in the social hall A short program preceded the dance it consisted of the song ill go where you want me to go by james C jensen and a talk by miss aliss edra murphy in which she i elated belated some of her experience while in the mission field the orchestra composed of G at wright A C AWill cwilliams ianis donald colby hal felt vernon long and mrs airs clayton as pianist then started up and the lance dance was soon oon in full swing the proceeds of the evening seventy nine dollars so the fund is now past the two hundred maik the leaders leader of the organization state that after another dance or so they will have enough to send nl a from north sevier to scandinavia when the fund does docs become large enough the stake authorities will chose so someone from one of the IN si ward to go which shows that the scandinavian organization is not con tined lined to the salina and redmond bards as sonic some may think but it is a stake organization of people from scandinavia trying to help get missionaries misi 1 sion aries over to their home country |
