Show ne my Is WHO AT at a meeting of the lamb feeders and tho the monroe lions club held at monroe thursday evening it was unanimously decided to stage a lamb feeders lay day at monroe on friday november 18 it was also unanimously decided that this event be made an annual one and that it should be staged from year to year in order to advertise the feeding possibilities of sevier county and especially the activities of the sheep men at monroe A committee consisting of H roland woodruff magleby boyd brown cleve winget and marion bohman was appo appointed intal for a central itral committee to take charge of the celebration the committee was given power to organize committees to assist them with the program arrangements ran range ments were made for 25 fai lambs to be roasted in the homes of members member s to be served at the free public lunch the program commit committee tre has outlined the following the group will assemble at the monroe state bank at 10 a in arid and will visit a number of the best feed yards until 1 p m when they will assemble on the public square and be served roast lamb sandwiches and other dainties to ease the hunger bunger of the large crowd anticipated at 2 all those who are interested te in lamb feeding and sheep mens problems will meet at the ward church professor K C ikeler of the utah agricultural college has been invited and has sent word that he will be in attendance all officials of the various county agricultural organizations railroad officials and stockyard officials of salt lake and ogden have also been invited to be iri in attendance immediately following the meeting will vill be the judging of fat lambs an on the public square by professor ikeler in the evening a big dance will bo be held in the monroe pavilion to which everybody is invited sheep men livestock buyers and all interested in this event are invited to be in attendance |
