presentation was pleasing and amusement ran high hig h through ft the audience highly appreciated the staging and the acting was some of the best played by our local players in in years vears principal C A white directed the play and deser deserves deserved vez high praise for his diligence the same play was presented in in elsinore friday evening r t mrs V N peterson returns from europe I 1 airs V N peterson wife of dr V N peterson feterson of new york both former for ier sevier county young people arrived here last week from vienna austria with her two months old daughter and will spend the summer with her parents pres and mrs J E magleby dr and mrs peterson went to europe in august of last year the doctor to spend a year in special study of the ear the eye nose and throat they baveri have abne one considerable sight seeing in germany austria france and switzerland and were keenly interested in the people their habits ind and modes of living in those countries dr peterson will continue his studios studies until september when he will vill join his family here and later return to new york where he will refi remain lain indefinitely if st patricks party we wednesday the luncheon t r returns from mission Alis sion field miss vada newby daughter of alfred newby returned last week from the northern states mission having spent 21 months as missionary there she says she enjoyed the work but is glad giad to be with relatives and friends friend again and they accordingly welcomed her home 4 t daughters of pioneers to meet the daughters of the pioneers will hold concluding nu number in of the twelve entertainments given by the stake recreation committee this winter six plays have been presented by various wards and six dances all of high class amused amuge ment which have attracted large kirg crowds recreation work has not been tried i out in this manner in the south sevier take stake s in previous years therefore those responsible for these eri
