Show I 1 DEATH CLAIMS AN ESTIMABLE aban in the passing ot of perry asay from this life on oil tuesday june 13 at salt lake monroe lost one of the most highly respected res apted citizens of 0 the community perry was known throughout the valley and all knew him to be of a happy contented disposition he has suffered about three months with what the doctors pronounced ulcers of the stomach he was taken to the L D S hospital six weeks ago for five weeks battled bravely tor for life but it was not to be and death claimed him and left many relatives and friends to mourn his demise he is survived by his bis widow mrs airs lydia asay one son dolph age 15 and two daughters klella age 12 and maxine Nl age 5 he also leaves a father eleazer asay of lovell wyo his mother mrs nettle nettie asay of monroe Alon roo three brothers aaron A aron of lovell wyo and eleazer and ernest of arco idaho and three sisters mrs airs ida julander of monroe mrs edith erly ol of los angeles angel cal and mrs airs emma goold of monroe peru perry was borri born about 37 years ago and has lived in monroe practically all his life he married miss lydia fontin of elsinore about seventeen years ago and has always been a devoted husband and father the funeral services were held frilay friday afternoon at the north ward church the choir rendered most beautifully the following numbers come ye disconsolate sometime somewhere well understand sun of my soul and all united in jesus joseph H jensen joseph A smith pres J E magleby and bishop walter lundgreen all expressed words of consolation to the bereaved family and also made very uplifting and timely remarks to relatives and friends present invocation was uttered littered by nephi and benediction by wm A warnock banks of flowers were an evidence of the friends friendship bip felt for perry asay and his family burial took place in the mouroe monroe cemetery the family wishes to express their thanks to all for the assistance sympathy and thoughtfulness to them in their sad bereavement |
