quite elated 0 ver over the splendid success of our northern borth light and especially the juniors of last year upon whom the burden of editing fell not only is it worthy of perusal but it also bespeaks financial success where does not finances hold the trump card this year many people tried to discourage us last year tor for they said money was so difficult to get that we could not secure sufficient means to publish our material but no one knows until he tries we tried and though enough obstacles came in in our path to astound many we won by hard work and many sleepless nights we originated a plan and put it into operation thereby securing two hundred and fifty tv two 0 o dollars from tho the individual classes that paid so much tor for the space they utilized in tile the book another two hundred and sixty was vas gained by soliciting advertisements verti from north sevier these two channels were our only income against that great amount we paid out and yet we were able to sell the books tor for a dollar each for having cuts made the large sum of two funded and live five dollars was paid to the salt lake engraving company two hundred and thirty dollars was expended for printing the annual twenty five was paid for photography work so from the total income after the disbursements were made fifty two dollars was left in the treasury of course there are man many places for money to to go but we deemed it wise to meet our obligations as fast as possible and turned fifty two dollars over to the student body A year book is not a bad investment after all 0 I 1 GLENWOOD
