| Show PROMINENT SAUNA SALINA MAN DEAD in the death of carl this week salina loses one of its best known citizens mr Rasi nussen had been working at marysvale Marys vale until xe recently dently when he returned to salina tor for treatment as he be had been feeling all run down it was not regarded as serious but complications arose 4 which resulted in his bis demise funeral services were held on monday at the L D S chapel under the direction of james S jensen there was a large attendance of friends of the family and there was a wealth of flowers placed on the bier consoling remarks were made by carl mattsson J F martin and james 1 I jensen all of whom had known decedent during practically his entire lifetime they each bore testimony to his good works to his worth as a man and citizen and gave ion consolation and solace to the be heaved family beautiful music added to the consoling spirit of the services furnished by the salina choir members carlos was the son of mr and mrs N C and was born at moroni december 29 1862 he came to salina with his parents in the early settlement of this city and grew to manhood here and was identified with the activities ties of the community both religious and municipal he is survived by his widow and six children these are clinton mrs amelia 1 dalton mrs ilene thompson mrs delois jensen cloid and odene A long cortege followed the remains to their last resting place in the city cemetery |
