HIGH SCHOOL NOTES NOTE S thursdays assembly period was given to the classes for the transaction of class business i strong interest is being evinced by the students over the class basket ball series series which is is now in progress friday afternoon the gym was the scene of a hard faught battle between the seniors and sophomores much to the surprise of everyone the sophomores conquered the seniors who in previous years have been the champions in the class series at the end of the first half the score tied at 5 but by the end of the game tile the score read 15 to 13 in favor of the sophomores mondays assembly program was in in charge of the freshmen the choir sang hail to the heroes miss woodruff and thelma spiers spie rs each gave a reading and miss myrle myrie jensen gave a vocal solo the students are rejoicing over the holiday friday teachers institute will be held here friday and saturday the dancing class given under the direction of miss oliver was held tuesday for the last time air the latest dances have been tho thoroughly coughl y mastered by the students friday night the board of education will entertain the students and teachers of the three branches of the sevier high school with a dancing party the panama singers the first number of the lyceum course will appear in the high school auditorium saturday night it is to be hoped that all citizens of richfield will take ad vantage of this opportunity
