Show U. S. War Veterans Meet At Provo The U. S. W. V. of Camp No. 4. Provo, Utah and the ladies of tht Auxiliary together with other friends were the dinner guests of Commander and Mrs. Edwin M. Johnston, of Mount Pleasant on the evening of Thursday May 21st, 1931 Dinner was served at 7:00 p. m. hi the dining room of the Presbyterian church. The decorations consisted consis-ted of a profusion of spring flowers. flow-ers. Thirty-five guests were served and included guests of honor: Robert Rob-ert Hardnc, Department Commond-er; Commond-er; Guy W. Lindsey, Department Inspector. Pat Klecke, Commandei-ChiitcWow Commandei-ChiitcWow Camp, Salt Lake City: Bett Loper, Commander Wedge-wood Wedge-wood Camp and wife, Salt Lake; Commander H. E. VanAelstyn and wife, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Edith VanAelstyn, president of the Utah State Auxiliary; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Os-car Brienholt, Ephraim; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Anderson, Ephraim; Mr. and Mrs. James W. Allred, Ephraim; Warren Laisere; Mr. and Mrs. I. C. Candland. After the dinner the party adjourned ad-journed to the Masonic Tempi; where a new member was obligated aftrr which the meeting was entirely en-tirely social. . Excellent addresses 'were made by Department Commander Com-mander Hardne, Department Commander Com-mander Kleeke, Depart Commander Command-er Loper, Past Commander Van Aelstyn and President Mrs. Edith VanAelstyn. Past Commander Van Aelstyn prr-sented the Camp with a larfje and much needed flag. Appreciation Apprecia-tion of the gilt was expressed by Commander Johnston and Past Commander Crosbie. The meeting adjourned at 11 o'clock. |
