Mrs. Joseph Prestwich and Mrs. Leo Morley were hostesses of the Sorosis club at the home of the latter Thursday afternoon. Those present were: Mrs. Ray Anderson, Mrs. James M. Larsen, Mrs. Ernest Blackham, Mrs. Russell Rus-sell Bailey, Mrs. E. D. Anderson, Mrs. Lloyd Blackham, Mrs. Blaine Draper, Mrs. Lewis Blackham, Mrs. Ma. vin Anderson, Mrs. Mert Draper, Dra-per, Mrs. Cleon Anderson, Mrs. Ellis Draper and Mrs. Elmo Irons. The lesson on "Lives of Famous Women" was given by Mrs. Ray Anderson. Refreshments were served. Last year's officers pre-senied pre-senied the club with eight folding chairs and tables. A bundle shower in honor ol Mr. and Mrs. Dean Neilson was given at the home of Mrs. Neil-scn's Neil-scn's grandmother, Mrs. Amy Hardy Har-dy on Friday night. The honor guests were presented with many beautiful and useful gifts. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to seventy-five seventy-five guests. Mrs. Morgan Lamb and Mrs. Daniel Anderson motored to Fair-view Fair-view last Friday and visited relatives rela-tives and friends there. Mr. J. Quale Peterson of Washington, Washing-ton, D. C, and Mrs. Jacob Peterson Peter-son of Salt Lake City were weekend week-end guests at the home of Mr. and T.Irs. Olson Anderson. Mrs. Leonard Anderson enteric enter-ic ined the Bridge Club at her home F, iday evening. Halloween dec-o dec-o :'.tions were carried out. Six tables of bridge were played. Mrs. Urwin Morley won first prize and Miss Matelda Abescher received the consolation prize. James Larson of Buhl, Idaho, weie visiting relatives rela-tives and friends in Moroni last week. Mr. and Mrs. Cenus Christensen and son Archie visited in Salt Lake and Ogden last week. Mr. Hamilton Gardener of the State Senate gave a lecture in the East ward ciiapel Wednesday night of last week. He explained the tax amendments. The M. H. club enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at the home of Mrs. Earl Cahoon Thursday af-. ternoon.
