Show A Miniature Art Exhibit The first grade in room 4 of the Hamilton School conducted a real worth while Art Exhibit December 2. The cliildren had made a collection col-lection of over 100 good prints of famous masterpieces. The collection collec-tion was properly mounted and ar-tistictly ar-tistictly displayed in the room. When the parents came they were very surprised to see such a big exhibit,, and .to., see hqw. the children chil-dren handled tickets, money and ushering. The biggest surprise was in the number of pictures and artists the children were acquainted acquain-ted with. The parents as well as the children chil-dren earnestly and eagerly listened listen-ed to the stories of the pictures and interesting events in the lives of the artists. The children had prepared so many interesting things about the pictures. The number who came pleased the children because they know they will be able to buy curtains for their rocm and carry out their Christmas project. Parents of the children in room 4 who enjoyed the art exhibit made possible through the efforts of Miss Langlois, feel to express their keen appreciation to her for this rare treat. They enjoyed it as much as did the children and realize that this type of project cannot fail to enrich en-rich the lives of those who came under its influence. Any such cultural enterprise is to be commended and encouraged in our school and other public organizations. |
