Show i ; : i I MORONI I 1 By Special Correspondence Earl Syme and Harold Christen-sen, Christen-sen, who have had employment in McGill, Nevada, have returned home to spend their vacation with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bruno were in Provo for Thanksgiving visiting with Mrs. Bruno's parents. Dan Phillippi and Ferry Morley have recently returned from Los Angeles, California. They trucked a load of turkeys there and sold them. They belonged to Dan Phillippi Phil-lippi and W. L. Irons. Miss Julia Blackham is visiting relatives and friends for a few days in Moroni. She has been employed em-ployed in Salt Lake City for the past year. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Lamb anc Mrs. Marvin Anderson attended funeral sevices at Mt. Pleasant last Friday for Mrs. Anna Davidson. David-son. Glendale Larsen of Salt Lake City was visiting relatives and friends in Moroni a few days last week. The road from Moroni to Freedom Free-dom is now completed so we have a good gravel road all the way to Maple Canyon.' Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Anderson entertained at a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving day. The-table and living room were decorated with brenze colored chrysanthemums. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. II. W. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. L. Cannon Anderson and three children chil-dren of Ephraim and Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Peterson of Salt Lake City. James Larsen spent Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing day in Salt Lake City with his daughter, Mrs. Leonard Tid-well. Tid-well. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Ellis of Helper, Hel-per, Utah were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bruno. |
