Show j FOUNTAIN GREEN 1 i By Special Correspondence A shower was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Anderson on May 23rd in honor of Miss Erma Jensen, daughter of Loren Jensen, and Floyd Jensen of - Moroni Mo-roni who were married Wednesday Mav 25th at her home. The mar riage ceremony was performed by her grandfather, J. C. Jensen. They will make their home in Freedom. Those present at the shower were: Clea Robertson, Deon All-red, All-red, Athalie Johnson, Marjorie Guymon, Ora Livingston, Evelyn Smyth, Alice Smyth, Hannah Johnson, Victoria Yorgason, Jessie Jes-sie Oldroyd, Ilene Oldroyd, Velma Christensen and Neva,. Lillis and Vay Jensen of Moroni. Mrs. Emma Maylett of Manti spent a few days last week with relatives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Holman and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Holman have gone to Wyoming to spend the summer on their sheep ranch. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Anderson and children have returned home for the summer and have moved into the home of J. C. Jensen. Mr. Anderson and his mother, Mrs. h;sku Anderson, ana sister, Katie, spent five days last week in Wyoming and Idaho visiting' with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Jameson and three sons of Eureka visited Sunday Sun-day at the home of Mi-, and Mrs. Cliff Mayer. Mrs. Paul Madsen gave a party last week honoring the fourth birthday anniversary of her little daughter, Pauline. A large number of her little friends were present. The opening dance in Green-ona. Green-ona. our open -air dance hall, will be held next Friday evening, May 27th. It is hoped that the dances this season will be successful under un-der the new management. Good music will be furnished. Mr. and Mrs. Soren Hansen Bogh received word this week of the serious illness of their son, Murel, who was operated on at a Salt Lake hospital recently. They left immediately for Salt Lake, and Murel is reported to be slowly slow-ly improving. President James L. Nielsen injured in-jured his feet this week while riding on some running gears, on his way to the herd. He is improving im-proving now. |
