Show Pioneer Ass'n. Annual Program The Mount Pleasant Pioneer Historical Histor-ical Association celebrated its 70th 'birthday of the founding of this city. ery fittingly Friday. Nielson of Fountain Foun-tain Green was the principal speaker, paying tribute to the Pioneers and to the Organization perpetuating their history and labors. Amasa Aldrich of Monroe was present pres-ent and spoke in his usual interesting manner of his love for his native town and its people, also of his memories of early Mount Pleasant life and activities. activi-ties. It was stated during the program that Martin Bohne and H. M. Bohne were the first two young men married in the old fort. S. Seely and wife, he being the first local bishop and mayor. These were followed fol-lowed by the other impersonations as well as the dancers present.
