Show Funeral Services Held For Mrs. C. M. Christensen Impressive funeral services were held from the South ward chapel Monday at 2 p. m. for Mrs. C M. Christensen, with Bishop A. L. Peterson in charge. Music was furnished by the vard choir with Mrs. R. D. Jones directing and a vocal solo, "Face to Face," was rendered by Mrs. H. G. Ericksen. Prayers were offered by Joseph Ursenbach and Joseph Johansen, Jr. Bishop OrJando Bradley of Moroni Mor-oni and President S. M. Nielson were the speakers, both paying tribute to the splendid character qualities and life of the deceased. Mads Anderson dedicated the flower covered grave. The Daughters of the Pioneers will hold a meeting in the North ward Relief Society Hall Tuesday at 3 p. m. August 4th. The program pro-gram includes: History of Bishop Seely, read by Mrs. Jesse Peterson; vocal duet, Mrs. Elsie Barton and Mrs. Chloe Frandsen; reading, Mrs. Lawrence Barton; vocal duet, Alice and Lois Peel; accordian solo, so-lo, Mrs. Elsie Barton; a pioneer talk will also be given. The public is invited to attend. Tuesday, July 28 Gleaner meeting meet-ing was held at Miss Jessie Hansen's Han-sen's home. Mrs. A. E. Darley gave the lesson concerning the foundation and needs- of a housewife house-wife and homemaker. Light refreshments re-freshments wero served. Miss Dale Nelson will be the hostess at the meeting Tusday, August 4th. |
