Show " i I FAIRVIEW I By Special Correspondence Fairview will celebrate the 24th of July. There will be bombarding and serenading in the early morning. A meeting at 10 o'clock in the North ward chapel with a spicy program. All the counties of Utah will be represented rep-resented by - boys and girls, who will also give speeches of their different industries, Utah of 1847 and Utah of 1929 will be represented. In the afternoon there will be games and sports at the City park; a free children's dance, a ball game between Mt. Pleasant and Fairview teams at 4 p. m. A dance at the Rainbow Gardens will conclude the day's entertainment. en-tertainment. Twelve of the 4-H club girls and their leader Mrs. Ellis Madsen, took an early morning hike Friday, west of Fairview. They cooked their breakfast, break-fast, had a program and swim In the river, and played games. Misses Leah Madsen, Atoa Sund-wall, Sund-wall, Katherine Sundwall, and Mrs. Peter Sundwall motored to Mohrland, Sunday and visited relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Amundsen and Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Vance spent Sunday in Provo Canyon. |
