Wheatley of Salt lake conducted the union worship wor-ship services in the afternoon. Addresses were made by the Rev. Weston T. Johnson of San Francisco, representing the board of foreign missions of the Pres- ', byterian church, and Rev. John C. Fry, also of San Francisco, a member of the board on pensions. Memorial services for Thomas Weir and the Rev. Theodore Lee, workers in this synod, who have 3 died during the past year, were held during the afternoon session. if Reports from' foreign missions I were made by the Rev. Pleas-tut Pleas-tut At the first session of the Woman's Wo-man's Synodical Thursday, greetings greet-ings to the assembled delegates were extended by Mrs. J. A. Pon-cel, Pon-cel, president of the Woman's Missionary society of the local church. Reports of the work of the various var-ious secretaries of the synodical were made by Mrs. S. T. Ricketts, Mrs. W. A. McKay, Mrs. M. M. Johnson, Mrs. J. A. Baker, Mrs. W. E. Dav. Mrs. L. Hanchett, Mrs. W. H. Ferguson, all of Salt Lake; Mrs. T. Ross Paden Jr. of Logan and Mrs. S. H. Maxwell of Richfield. Rich-field. "Test of Discipleship" was the topic discussed by the three pres-hyterial pres-hyterial presidents, Mrs. E. R. Mc-Fadden, Mc-Fadden, Salt Lake Presbytefial; Miss Margery Frink, Ogden Pres-byterial, Pres-byterial, and Miss Frances Ball, Southern Utah Presbyterial. A men's fellowship dinner at 6:15 p. m. in the dining hall of the First Presbyterian church concluded con-cluded the day's program. Stanley J.
