Show Manti, Moroni Wool Pools Sign With National After a thorough study of the mar keting problem, the home grown wool producers of Manti in a meeting meet-ing at the public library last night voted 100 per cent in favor of signing sign-ing a marketing contract with the Utah Wool Marketing Association. The producers carried into effe:t a suggestion of County Agent, C. O. Stott, who has given assistance on the problem, and made three pools each signing a separate contract with the marketing association. The 615 old ewes fleeces will be signed under one lot number with Alphon-o Alphon-o Henri as Pool chairman; the 1895 lamb fleeces in a second contract con-tract under H. A. Larsen and a third consignment of 828 fleeces from stock sheep was made with Grant Dyreng as leader in charge. These 3038 sheep represented under un-der the three contracts are owned by nineten diffrent farmers In the community. By signing up five thousand pounds or more under one is avoided. contract the one half cent penalty In a similar manner some 2,500 fleeces were signed up at Moroni last Saturday. |
