Show I CHESTER j : By Special Correspondence Word was received here by relatives rela-tives of the death in Soda Springs, Idaho of Leonard C. Childs, ot stomach trouble a the home of his sister, Mrs. J. A. Swensen. Ee was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joel H. Childs and was born at Chester January 16, 1885. On October 14. 1914 he was married to Miss Martha Nelson of Ishpeming, Michigan. In 1916 he and his wife moved to Idaho where he engaged in the cattle and sheep raising business until the time of his death. Funeral services were held in the L. D. S. chapel at Sola Sprirgs, Idaho, on Wednesday, January 8th with Bishop Kenneth Bowls in charge. S. W. Harris offered the opening prayer. The speikers were Harry Horsley and Bishop Gus Anderson of Central. Mrs. Leonard Vaughn and Mrs. C. P. Tucker sang a duec. Other musical number were furnished fur-nished by the choir. The Modern Woodmen of America of which the deceased was a member and the Royal Neighbors Joined in the rites at the Soda Springs Cemetery. W. H. Skinner dedicated the grave. Surviving are his wife and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. L. P. Madsen, and F. J. Childs of Chester. Mrs. J. A. Swensen and Lydia Childs of Soda Springs, Idaho, Ida-ho, Mrs. G. A. Larsen of Ontario. Oren-r,n. J. K. Childs of Helper, O. C. Childs of Alexander, Idaho, A. W. Childs of Mt. Pleasant and V. C. Childs of Richfield |
