Show I MORONI i By Special Correspondence , Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Sorensen are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby ba-by boy at the Dice hospital. Born to Mr. and Mrs. John Irons a baby girl at the Dice hospital on April Fools day. Mrs. John Anderson and Miss Camille Olsen entertained the Bridge club Thursday night at the heme of the latter. Miss Vivian Anderson received high score prize and Mrs. Ruelon Johnson received consolation prize. Sixteen members were present. Re-fishments Re-fishments were served. Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Anderson trm Sorosis club and their husbands were entertained by the following hosts and hostesses: Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Sorensen, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Des-pain, Des-pain, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Black-ham Black-ham and Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Anderson. An-derson. The guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Blackham, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Draper, Mrs. Blaine Draper, Mrs. Elmo Irons, Mr. and Mrs'. Morgan Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. James M. Larsen and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Morley. Eight tables of Rook were played and first prizes were won by Ellis Draper and Mrs. Leo Morlev. Con solation prizes went to Mrs. Morgan Mor-gan Lamb and Marvin Anderson Refreshments were served. The daughters of the pioneers held their meeting Friday, April 3rd. Mrs. Amos Draper Jr. gave a sketch of the life of her grandfather grand-father James Harvey; reading, Mrs. Maria J. Morley; selections on the accordian, Mrs. Ben Cloward; reading, read-ing, Ruth Draper; Mrs. Janet Mon-sen Mon-sen related some early pioneer ex-periencs ex-periencs of her life; a chapter from the book "The Founding or Utah" was read by Mrs. Andrew Bradley Jr. Mrs. Olive D. Anderson, Mrs John R. Blackham, Mrs. Cleon Anderson; Mrs. N. P. Sorensen Mrs. Leander Olsen, Mrs. Alma Blackham and Bishop Elmo Irons attended the general conference at Salt Lake City. |
