Show FOUNTAIN GREEN I By Special Correspondence 1 Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Carol-ine A. Snow, age 48, were held Wednesday, December 18th at the ward chapel. The choir sang. 'Sometime, We'll Understand." Invocation In-vocation was offered by N. M. Jensen. Jen-sen. The speakers were Fred D. Smyth, Daniel Anderson of Moroni, Niels Oldroyd of Glenwood, Sam Snow of Castle Valley and Niels Mikkelson. Mrs. Hilda Christiansen Christian-sen sang, "Oh, My Father." Mrs. Lena Johnson sang, "Who Knows?" The closing prayer was offered by Lena Johnson. ' A feeling of sadness was cast over ov-er the entire community when word was received here of the death of Mrs. Irvin Wilson of Nephi, who was formerly Grace Anderson, tHe daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson An-derson of our city. She is survived by her husband and six children, the eldest being eleven years and the youngest three months old. funeral services were held at Nephi Monday, December 23rd and a very large attendance was present. A number of Fountain Green people attended the funeral. Musical numbers were, vocal duet, "My Father Knows," Mrs. G. F. Johnson and Mrs. A. A. Anderson of fountain Green; solo, "O Let My Walk be Close With God," Mrs. Hoyt of Nephi; solo, "My Faith In Thee, Randall Christiansen; solo, "Hold Thou My Hand." Mrs. Hilda Christiansen Chris-tiansen of Fountain Green. The speakers were James Garrett of Nephi and a member of the Bishopric Bish-opric from the ward in which Mrs. Wilson resided. The benediction was offered by Mr. Bailey. Miss Eva Llewellyn left Saturday for California where she will remain indefinitely. Funeral services were held December De-cember twenty-first for M. Marie Johnson, wife of Alfred Johnson of Fountain Green, who died December Decem-ber 17 after an illness of five years, which became serious on December 4th. She was 77 years 3 months and 2 days old. Surviving beside her husband hus-band are the following children : Christian Johnson of Salt Lake, Mrs. Amon Hansen, Alfred Johnson Jr., August Johnson and President E. J. Johnson of Fountain Green, sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was born at Novling, Denmark and came to Fountain Green in July 1885, after having join ed the L. D. S. Church. She was a faithful Latter Day Saint and had spent much time doing temple work. Her husband and two children, Chrisian and E. J. Johnson have filled missions in European countries coun-tries for the t. D. S. church. Funeral services were held December De-cember 21st with Bishop Osmond Crowther presiding. Songs by the choir were, "Someime We'll Under stand," "Tho Deepening Trials," "Shall We Meet Beyond the River," and "There is Sweet Rest in Heaven." Heav-en." Mrs. Hilda Christiansen sang "Oh My Father." The speakers were Kjeld Peter Jensen, J. C. Jensen, Abe Livingston. Living-ston. The invocatiton was given by J: R. Christiansen and the benediction benedic-tion by Matthias Allred. The grave was dedicated by Wm. Collard. |
