Show SPRING CITY j I By Special Correspondence DeLors Blain and family of Salt ! Lake City are visiting Joseph Blain and other relatives in this city for a lew weeks. Mrs. R. Strate and son Mac and daughter Geneva have returned from a three weeks trip to Canada, where they visited with relatives at different points. j Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson and sons cf Salt Lake City were guests of Mrs. Sarah Clausen a few days last week. Elliot Watson has gone to Salt Lake City to attend a business college. Mr. and Mrs. John Bunnel ot Eureka motored here last week to visit Mr. Bunnel's sister, Mrs. Char-lotto Char-lotto Schofield, who has been iil for some time. 1V1I WUCU JDlttlll alio 11LL1J daughter Tessie Jane are visitinj relatives in Prcvo this week. Mrs. Ninnie A. Mickel is ill ufc her home. Mrs. Alvin Bertelsen entertained a number of friends at her home Tuesday afternoon honoring hcr birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Crawford of Rupert, Idaho, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Black and other relatives in this city for a few days. Mrs. Walter Rasmussen entertained enter-tained a group of friends and neighbors at a dinner party on the evening of the 19th. the ocasion being be-ing her birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mi's. R. Bissinger and daughters are visiting at the home of Mrs. R. Strate for a few days. Mrs. Eva Ericksen who was operated oper-ated on at the Aird hospital in Provo for appendicitis, is reported to be improving and is expected home Thursday. The Mothers' and Daughters' entertainment en-tertainment was enjoyed by quite a large crowd. A good program was presented and delicious refreshments re-freshments were served. Bums Alhed has purchased the home formerly owned by Louise-' Maxfield. i A number of Spring City girls j left Tuesday for Clearfield, where: j they have employment at the ' Woods Cross Canning Company. i Mrs. Chris Rosencrantz of Fair-view, Fair-view, visited here a few days with I her daughter, Mrs. Vern Bills. I Mr. and Mrs. Ivar Christensen! annunee the marriage of their! daughter Ida to Ethan Thompson last week at Nephi. The young couple will make their home in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Tenos Thompson have purchased the home formerly owned by Cloyd Blain. |
