Show Bert Tucker of Fairview Killed by Lightning Byron Egbert Tucker, 48, (commonly (common-ly known as Bert Tucker) was instantly instant-ly killed Saturday, June 29th, when he was struck by lightening near In-dianola, In-dianola, 12 miles north of Fairview. His son Ecklund, 14, was also hit by the bolt but soon recovered. Rueben Hartly, 45, the third member of the party, was knocked insensible. The three were inspecting a hay field ol Myron Tanner. Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, and six children; Byron Tucker of Salt Lake, Mrs. George Jensen of Moroni, Mo-roni, Mrs. J. Robertson, Reed, Lloyd, and Ecklund Tucker, all of Fairview. He is also survived by five brothers and one sister: Mrs. Rueben Reese and Charles Tucker, Pleasant View, Traverse Trav-erse Tucker, Provo; Frank Tucker, Fairview; Orson and Rheuban Tucker Tuck-er of Clear Creek, Utah. Funeral services were held in the North ward chapel, Tuesday with Eisiiop Jones presiding. The 'om-bined 'om-bined choirs sang "Sometime We'll Understand;" prayer was offered by Mr. Carlston of Spring Canyon; quartet, quar-tet, "Abide With Me." Bishop Ellis of Spring City offered the invocation. The speakers were Bishop John R.. Graham, Bishop Peter Sundwall and Bishop Jones who all spoke of his optimism, op-timism, his genial disposition and his clean habits. Special musical numbers num-bers were given by Mrs. G. F. Olson, Stanley Brady and Jessi; L. Young The benediction was offered by Bishop Peter Peterson, and the grave in the city cemeter.? was dedicated fy Bishop Bish-op James T. Peterson. Out-of-town relatives and friends who came to attend the funeral were; Mr. and Mrs. Traverse Tucker and two sons; Mr. and Mrs. G. W Tucker, all of Provo; Mr. and Mr. Anthony Tucker, Orson and Rueben Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. Valton Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Tucker, all of Clear Creek; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Tucker and Mr. Pari Vance, all of Salt Lake; Mrs. Lois Lowe and Mrs Annie Venoy, Ogden, Mr. and : ill-.
