The trip to Salt Lake at that1 time was -made by team and required five days, one way. At the dinner table were most of the;r children and g",andeliildren. Mrs. Sarah Ann Reck, widow of Simon T. Beck, was a special guest. Mr. and Mrs. Beck were married at the same lime, the two couples making mak-ing the trip loget her. The Jr. High School Basket Ball Team, under the direction of coach Ernest Terry, boast of having won all of the games played so far this season. . I The Junior High will present the Operetta, "Windmills of Holand", in the near -future. Spring City, is contemplating continuous "light" service in the very near future. Heretofore the current has been on only three days each week. The county road from Spring City to Chester, lias been completed. The road was built on a 50-c0 basis, Spring city men doing this work..
