Show Sheep On Ranges In Good Shape Salt Lake City. Western sheepmen who are deeply concerned now over the 1926 lamb crop and wool clip became be-came optismistic when a blanket of snow came recently to the winter ranges carrying their sheep. Range feed conditions have, with the exception excep-tion of a few isolated localities, been good during the winter. Feed supplies sup-plies assembled near feedlots have been drawn upon but. lightly so far. The coming of the snow, however, will j make it desirable for the sheepmen to feed more than usual, to preclude any possibility of the soft spot that comes to the wool staple |
