Show ' OFF TO THE RAM BALE GREATEST HAMS IN IHE WORLD 10 BE SOLD ATSALT LAKE Three hundred seventeen registered register-ed Rambouileet Rams, and forty-one registered Rambouillet Ewea, were loaded on the cars at Mt. Pleasant last evening and started off for the great ram sale at North Salt Lake, where some of the finest rams in the world will be sold next week.. This annual ram sale Is beginning to take on great proportions and is attracting attract-ing attention throughout all the in termountain and western state3, and is even gaining much interest in the East. John H. Seely & Sons Company sent one hundred thirty-seven rams and thirty-five ewes. , John K. Madsen sent fifty-two rams and six ewes. W. D. Candland & Sons sent seventy-nine rams. - - Francis Neilson sent thirty-four rams. Bill Miller sent twelve rams, and Charles Truscott three rams. It is doubtful In our minds if there will be as good a showing from any part of the United States as was gathered from the Mt. Pleasant flocks. Local breeders generally take the lead in all the shows and sales Prices have ranged from fifty dollars to more than six thousand dollars for rams bred and raised in Mt. Pleasant. |
