Show FAIRVIEW Mrs. Sarah E. Fowles and Miss Lillie Fowles went to Salt Lake last week. Mrs. Fowles will spend the winter working in the Salt Lake Temple. Miss Liilie will attend school. Mr. and Mrs. James Vance of Eureka are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. llyrum Vance, Sr. Miss Puby Epperson of Pro vo is the guest of her grand parents Mr. and Mrs. X. B. Pritchett. .lose ih Pay of Bountiful is spending the week with Fair view relatives. Mr. and Mrs. George F. 01-seu 01-seu who spent the summer at Provo have returned to their home in Fairview. Mrs. Ellis Coombs who spent the summer attending school at Logan returned home Friday. She visited relatives at Salt Lake, Bountiful, Provo and Hinckley the past two weeks. Under the auspices of the local farm bureau Fairview will hold a community fair September 28. Livestock, fruit, dairy and farm products will be exhibited. Also a'uuur ber of things made by the ladies in their different projects pro-jects will be on display. The animals will be shown at Al-'bort Al-'bort Christensen's, and the other display at the high school gymnasium. The High School and Public School began the years work I this week with a very good attendance. at-tendance. Principal Maitland Graham announces an enroll meiit of nearly three hundred in the public school, over for ty of them being beginners. Word was received yesterday yester-day by Mr. ami Mrs. A. U. Miner Min-er that their son Elder Glen B. Miner had received his release from the mission field on September 10th. Fdder Miner has labored in the Mexican mission the past thirty-five months. He will arrive home some time next week. Golden G. Sanderson went to Bingham last Saturday to accept ac-cept a position with the Bingham Bing-ham Mercantile Company one of the largest stores at that place. i |
