Story of Zoroaster Zoroaster was one of the great teachers of the East and founder of what may be called the national religion re-ligion of the Perso-Iranian people, that Is, speaking generally, the Persians. When he lived and taught is not exactly exact-ly known, but It is held that lt was between the years 1000 B. C. and GOO B. C. He taught a dualism of power, one good and the other evil. Light represented the former and "darkness the latter. As corruption grew up, the sun became worshiped as the great source of light and, therefore, of all good.
