Show U. S. Refuses Uintah Lands Salt Lake City. Notice that the proposed relinquishment of state claims to more than 56,000 acres of oil shale lands in the Uintah basin would, not be accepted by the United States land office was received at the state land office from Commissioner William Wil-liam Spry.
