Show Several Hundred Parents Attend Fathers' and Mothers' Day Event Several hundred parents from all sections of Utah and southern Idaho visited the College on "Fathers' and Mothers' Day Saturday November 5. It was ithe most successful day of its kind in the history of the College according to Dr. J. H. Linford, who was in general charge. The pairents of the College students visited classes until 11 o'clock Saturday morning when a general assembly was held with President A. W. Ivins of the Board ct Trustees as the pincipal speaker. In the afternoon the parents par-ents attended the great dedication same in the new stadium. A faculty parents dinner was held in .the evening eve-ning and later the parents were pests of the Cami-as Players Club at the production of "My Lady's Dress, the fiirst Little Theatre play to be given this year. Mrs. Rena Maycock of the College eytens'on division s in charge of the Adult Home Demonstration School which is being conducted on the col- lege campus with representatives Irom nearly every county in Utah in attendance. The School will co;-t'nue co;-t'nue to Saturday November 12. The women in attendance are living on the college campus ana they are taking a very well prepared and intensive in-tensive course in three phases of home management. A Gorgeous dhlpTay of chrysanthemums chrysanthe-mums has just been shown at the greenhouse at the Utah Agricultural College. Over fifty varieties weie on displav and hundreds of students and other visitors have attended the spectacle. According to those n charge of the spectacle it can be seen tor another month. Professor Knaphus, one of the Utah's foremost sculptors, will t-'ive a class in plaster work and costing during the. Winter Quarter at tne College which begins January 4. Open house will he ohserved at Wasatch Academy next Mnjul-iy November Nov-ember 14. All school patrons and anyone interested in the-schools' are 'invited to attend. A program wM be given in the gymnasium, after) which the visitors will he taken on a lour of inspection through all the I buildings on the campus.
