Show SO THE PEOPLE MAY KNOW: Since the accompanying Ad first appeared in the Pyramid several niei from Sanpete County have been over to the properties of the Great West-'ern West-'ern coal Jlines Company; men in whom the public could depend, and upon whose word they could rely, it is gratifying to note the very encouraging en-couraging report they make, excerpts ex-cerpts from which it is a pleasure to print and which I feel the people are entitled to know. They say in part: "We spent some time looking over the holdings of the several companies, particularly in the Spring Canyon section. In looking over all ithe coal lands including that of I the Great Western, we kept in mind four things in particular-. 1st. Quantity of coal available. 2nd. Quality of coal available. 3rd. Accessability of the coal. 4th. Lay of the land and location of present and contemplated town-sites town-sites including water supply and other natural facilities, etc." and then they add "It Is our best opinion that the Great Western Coal Mines Company's holdings are equal to and probably excell those of the other companies, in the district, with respect re-spect to the four above enumerated points." Then after giving some details and data as to the property and the personnel of the firm and their opinion concerning same they continue: "We can say this to our friends who are contemplating taking tak-ing stock in this comapny, that they have one of the largest holdings in the heart of one of the best coal miae districts 'in Carbon County; there is no question about them having hav-ing a first class location in practically practical-ly every particular, including quantity quanti-ty and quality of coal." Such statements from men of un. biased integrity and reliability as Hr. George B. jCox, Jr., President of the Sanpete County Farm Bureau, and ilr. C. O. Stott, County Agricultural Agri-cultural Agent, should satisfy every citizen as to the merits this property offers the investor and impress every citizen with the opportunity this company offers for a safe and secure investment. Besides the tremendous tremend-ous saving in the cost of coal to the man or family who becomes a share holder in this exceptional enterprise. Mr. Charles Deakin of Ephraim, who also accompanied ua on our trip of inspection to the property of this company. To satisfy himself be fore making investment, expresses equally glowing tribute to our property prop-erty and its natural advantages and concludes his final paragraph by saying: say-ing: "The officers of the company impressed im-pressed me as being men of integrity ind honesty; men of experience who :iave done big things successfully, as iheir records show. With the natural advantages here in their avor, I should ?xpect them to build i i successful ano' thriving coal mining min-ing enterprise tliat would be an honor to themseives, a pride to thej tate and a benefit and divUenc' payer to its shareholders. At least,! I believe so and have bought my Uock, $1,000.00, which I presume ;is the best evidence of th confidence j I feel in this enterprise, after seeing for myself." Mr. Cox and Mr. Stott both stockholders of another coal J 'company after seeing both properties j 'bought more stock in our company whiclj substantiates their statements 1 mentioned above by their own act-'ion. act-'ion. Now people, I am publishing 'this letter that you may know the facts' and the value of these securities securi-ties that you may take advantage of 'them that the people of Utah may reap the benefit of her own valuable 'securities and not let the valuable ones always go to the people of the outside.
