Clarence Turpln and Lester Turpln motored to Ogdon Tuesday to attend the fuueral of their brother I.awrenc twelve year old daughter. Geneve Swenson seven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Swenson was operated upon last week for appendicitis. Mr. Clement's daughter, Margaret, has completed a three years coarse in the Holy Cross training school for j nurses and graduates with the class of '23 Miss Geniveve Perry spent the week end at Richfield. Funeral seervices were held at the North ward chapel Friday May 4, for Maurlne Peterson four year ol : daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanle Peterson. Bishop J. R. Graham presided. Music was furnished by the choir with special solos by Mrs. Ellis Coombs and J. Floyd Young. S. S. Sanderson, Miss Cecil Vance jo4 Blahop Graham were speakers. Many beautiful flowers were given. A number of friends and relatives 'accompanied the remains from Spring Lake to Fairvlew. Interment I wa3 in the Falrview cemetary w here ! Hans Madsen dedicated the grave. A house party "was given Monday evening for Miss Afton Allred at the home of Mrs. Howard Rlgby. it was prtven by the officers of the M. I. A. On Tuesday evening at the close or the regular meeting the senior girls rave a weenie roast in honor of Miss Afton Allred. A merry time was on-Joyed. on-Joyed. Miss Luella Daynes entertain -d Wednesday afternoon for the domestic domes-tic art girls and their mothers and a number of friends. The work done this term by the girls was on displa. The house hold management gins presented a one act play. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served to nearly one- hundred! guests. |
