Show FUNERAL HELD FOR GRANDPA NMIDSEI i Hundreds of relatives and frlends completely filled the North ward chapel Sunday afternoon as the last rites were held for "Grandpa" John Knudsen, the oldest resident of -Mt Pleasant who died last Wednesday. Bishop A. L. Petersen of the South ward presided at the services and special m'Ui'iic was furnished by the choir. Prayers were orrered by President Daniel Raamnsseu and C. l. Stewart. The speakers all whom eulogized the sterling characteristics and upright life of Mr. Knudsen !were Andrew Larsen, President .Louis A. Petersen, C. W. Sorensee and Bishop A. L. Peterson. 'Mrs. Obeti Nelson sang "O My Father," and by special request of M,r. Knudsen before be-fore his death, Mrs. -Christie Clark Robertsein. iianig "I Am A Pllgram.'' The palil bearers were H. M. Ras-Imussen Ras-Imussen of Fairview, Dewey and Geo. Knuildaen of Bins'ham Canyon, George !A. Petersen, V. H. Gundereon and J. Leo Seely, and the grave was dedicated dedicat-ed by J. Leo Seely. |
