Show FUNERAL SERVICE FOR J0R1O. JONES John O. Jones a prominent sheep man and famer of this community died at the family home Saturday evening after a lingering illness. Mr. Jones was the son of Richard and Mary Owens Jones. He was born in Meiiondathshire, North Wales August 12, 1S62. He caime to America in 188 2 and engaged in the development of the Leadville Colorado and Bingham Utah, Mines. He came to Mt. Pleasant thirty-five years ago. He married Antonette De Graft of Mt. Pleasant January 18 1892. She died Bebruary 14, 1923 He is survived by one brother Thomas Jones, of Canada and the following children, Firank O. Jones of Lovell Wyoming J. W. J"es' R-D. R-D. Jones and Mrs. Lon T. Larsen all of Mt. Pleasant. Largely attended funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the North ward chapel for John O. Jones who died last Saturday, FishaP Henry P Olson presided and wan also one of the speakers. Others uho spoke were Bishop William D-ivis of Wales Bishop H. C. Jacobs and Frank Seely. Prayers were offered by James Mousen and Judge Arthur 0. Nielsen. Music was furnished by the ward chior and special numbers by Mrs Obed Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. George Squire, and Mrs. John R. Lamb ot Wales. The grave was dedicated by And-Ifcw And-Ifcw Laraeu. |
