Show Senate Passes Expense Bill Salt Lake Appointment of committees, commit-tees, passage of house bill No. 1, appropriating ap-propriating $40,000 with which to pay the expenses of the legislature, and the adoption of a resolution on tho death of Senator LeRoy Dixon of Utah county composed the greater part ot the business transacted by the senate at Tuesday's session. President Alon-10 Alon-10 B. Irvine, In announcing the name:! of the committee members, declared that he had been up the greater part of Monday night selecting those to serve on the various committees. He said he had tried to meet the request of all the senators, and, with a few exceptions, had been able to do so. Efforts were made In choosing the committees, he declared- to obtain cross-sections of the state so that different dif-ferent vicinities might be represented. |
