Mrs. James Rigby, who had an attack of gall stones, is somewhat improved. Mrs. Sidney Brady, who has been very ill the past month, is reported to be improving. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Vance, Sr., went to Garfield last week to visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Mower went to Clear Creek Tuesday, where they will make their home this winter. Jacob Rasmussen and family leave this week for the reservation, where they go to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bills, Sr., and Jordan Bills spent the past week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miner at Vineyard. Beet digging in Fairvlew is near-ing near-ing completion, the farmers are somewhat disappointed as the crop is poor. Mrs. Lorenzo Peterson and son, Le-land, Le-land, went to Garfield last week. They expect to' spend the winter at that place where Mr. Peterson has employment. Mrs. Wilford Johnson of Idaho is a guest at the home of her mother, Mrs. Maggie Sanderson. Mrs. Maggie Mag-gie Bell and children of Glenwood are also visitors at the Sanderson jhome. The Junior High School gave a very successfu 1 Hallowe'en party Wednesday evening in the gymnasi-um. gymnasi-um. Black cats, whitches, bats, pumpkins and spooks were cleverly used in the decorations. The Misses Beatrice and Helen Burns entertained about twenty of their little friends at a Hallowe'en party. Music and games and a daifi-ty daifi-ty luncheon made a pleasant evening for all. Mr. and ' Mrs. Darrel Rasmussen Vire visiting relatives at Fairview ithis week. ' Mr. Rasmussen leaves 'Thursday for Price to report to the Idraft call. H. Anderson, Howard Rigby, Rig-by, Miss Elva Sorenson and Miss ' Georgia Christenson. Mr. Rigby has lately been released as assistant su-perintendent su-perintendent and Albert Stewart has taken his place. |
