THE PRESENT (second) session of lessons will be Jan 7 14, 21, 28 and Feb. 4. The final session will have classes on Feb. 11,18, 25 and March 3 and 10. Three "packages" will be offered to skiers - (1) cost for five lessons, including bus transportation to the ski resort and return, $50; bus transportation only, not including lessons, $37; five lessons only, not including transportation, $24. HOWEVER, there will be an additional cost for lift nasses but these passes will be offered ski school registrants at a reduced cost, said Mr. Whitaker. As in years past, ski school lessons will be staged at Snow Basin east of Ogden, and at Alta Ski Resort east of Salt Lake City. Each session will include five lessons and transportation costs to these resmrts, the director explained. THERE WILL be three pickup stations for those skiers wanting to commute by bus to Alta and eight pickup stations for skiers using Snow Basin Resort. Those commuting to Alta will catch the bus at Bountiful Junior High, Centerville Junior High, and the Davis School District Office in Farmington. North Davis County residents must travel to one of these pickup sites if they wish to attend classes at Alta, the director emphasized. PICKUP STATIONS for Snow Basin will be at Bountiful Junior High, Centerville Junior High, Davis School District Office, Kaysville Junior High, Layton High, Clea-.field High, Sunset Junior High and at Snrith Food King Store in Roy, 5600 S. 1900 W. Buses will depart each pickup station at 7:30 a.m. and return about 4:30 p.m. said Mr. Whitaker. Skiers should plan for their own lunch each class session.
