Show GRAND RECEPTION IS PLANNED FOR RETURN OF TROOP E. WHO GUARDED MEXICAN BORDER The home-coming of Troop E is be-'ng be-'ng looked forward to with much 'anxiety by the people of Mount Pleasant. Pleas-ant. Our soldier boys have been ordered home several times but the troubles on the border have interfered inter-fered with the plans of the military authorities i and the troop has been detained longer than had first been expected. The reception committee will meet Sunday and make preparations for the home-coming event of the town boys which we expect will not be far off. They are expected to leave the. border this coming Sunday and no time should be lost in preparing for their return. The people of this city will no doubt make one of the grandest receptions re-ceptions ever given any of her dozens. do-zens. The City ofRcilas will take an active part in the reception and the City officials and people of the neighboring neigh-boring cities are invited to participate partici-pate in the home-coming event. Mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters sis-ters will all have one joyful meeting when the soldier boys return. |
