Show FAIR VIEW. (News for August loth.) Mr. and Mrs. Darius Sanderson are rejoicing over tlie arrival of a fine baby boy at their home this v. ee.U. This was a happy event as they had only one boy and lie is eighteen years old. Mr. and Mrs. II. V. Run'derson Jr. who visited Fairview relatives the past week returned Thursday to their home at American Fork. Miss Laurel Mirier spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday with relatives and friends at Provo. Mrs. Calvin Jones of Salt Lake City came to Fairview last weeK on account of the serious illness of her mother. Mrs. Lorenzo Peterson who has been seriously ill the past two months passed awa-y Tueiday, Aug. 12th. She was sixty one years ot age and has always been a gr?dt worker both In her home and in the ward organizations. She has been in poor health the past two years and more especially since last January when Hhe had influenza and one of her daughters died with it. She was born in llorby, Sweden and crossed the plain with her parents when three years old. She has lived in Fairview fifty-five years. She leaves her husband and seven children (all grown) to' mourn her loss. Funeral Fun-eral services will be held Friday, August 15th. Mr. and .Mrs. William Pritchett who were lately married visited relatives rela-tives and friends in Fraiview the past d;. Mis., Lora Snow spent the past two weeks visiting at Thistle with her sister. Miss May Miljs who spent the past month in Salt 'Lake returned home Sunday. Miss Alta Snow of Fairview and Ted Lawshe of Pocatello, Idaho were married recently at Pocatello. They will make their home at Seattle, Washington. Mrs. Hynum Poulsen and children are guests at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Brady. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Olsen went to Provo last week where they expect to make their home. The good wishes of their many friends go with them. Herbert Bills of Milburn was operated oper-ated upon for appendicitis at the home of his brother, Charles Bills in Fairview Monday. Dr. KdmuncU. Kigby aii'd Sundwall did the operating. operat-ing. He is reported slightly imprv-ed imprv-ed at this writing but his was a very serious case. Dr. D. G. Edmunds gave a very instructive in-structive and interesting lecture on health at the regular relief society meeting last Tuesday. More than rl lnrlirti w.?m nresentt.
